No VIP treatment for Chinese nationals in city's vaccination sites -- Mayor Emi
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano assured that there will be no VIP treatment or any form of undue preference to be given to Chinese nationals in the city's COVID-19 vaccination program.

Rubiano gave the assurance after a social media post showed some Chinese nationals who were able to get vaccinated in a school near the City Hall.
She said the social media post claimed that a number of Chinese nationals were vaccinated despite not being part of the priority groups for the vaccines.
The mayor said there were some Chinese nationals who were vaccinated because they are legitimate Pasay residents and belong to the A2 (senior citizens) and A3 (with comorbidities) categories.
“These individuals, like all other people who were vaccinated, passed through the normal process and during their registration they submitted their Barangay Certificates indicating that they are residents of the city and they belong to either the A2 or A3 category, “ Rubiano said.
The mayor added that at the vaccination sites, the documents they submitted were appraised by the vaccination personnel.
Rubiano said that she would order a probe on the reported incident allegedly giving Chinese nationals priority at the vaccination sites.
