MakatiMed's TeleMD, drive-thru consultation for asymptomatic, mild COVID-19 cases

Home medical care of patients with asymptomatic to mild COVID-19 is now available through Makati Medical Center’s TeleMD and drive-thru consultation services.

MakatiMed’s TeleMD consultation services are available for adults and pediatric patients (newborn to 18 years old) from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The service is available either as a single visit or part of a medical package.

The basic package is for five TeleMD consultations for five days, and includes a homecare guide, and a COVID HomeCare Pack which contains a digital thermometer, pulse oximeter, medicines, and vitamins.

The basic package is available for P7,000 for adults, and children (newborn to 12 years old), and P6,800 for adolescents (13 to 18 years old).

Also available is the extended package for 10 TeleMD consultations for 14 days, a homecare guide, and a COVID HomeCare Pack, plus a medical certificate. This package costs P10,500 for adults and children (newborn to 12 years old), and at P10,300 for adolescents (13 to 18 years old).

TeleMD add-ons such as RT-PCR swab, blood extraction, X-ray, face-to-face consultations, and assistance or referral to a specialist doctor may also be required depending on the patient’s health situation.

Another innovation at MakatiMed is the drive-thru consultation service, which can include on-site referral for a COVID diagnostic test via RT-PCR swab, chest X-ray, and other laboratory tests.

MakatiMed’s drive-thru services are available at the Convergys open parking on Dela Rosa corner Salcedo Street. Entrance is along Dela Rosa Street Access Road 3 right after McDonald’s in Kroma Tower. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
