'Friends: The Reunion' streams on HBO GO via Sky on May 27

Legions of Filipino “Friends” fans who have been waiting for stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer to reunite can take heart as the much-talked-about “Friends: The Reunion” unscripted special streams this Thursday, May 27 at 3.01 p.m. on HBO GO via SKY, the same time as the U.S.

With a same-day broadcast on HBO at 9 p.m., the gang of six returns to the show’s original soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, California to bring laughter and tears to an entire generation of fans.

Anticipation for the reunion has reached fever pitch after years of clamor from fans. It almost happened last year but the pandemic has pushed production. The special will have the “Friends” stars in a game of trivia about the show, revisit some of the sets, and even some line-reading, all to make the reunion more nostalgic.

Joining them is late night talk show host James Corden who will do a sit-down interview in front of a live audience. The special also features a variety of special guests, which includes David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, and Malala Yousafzai.

Ben Winston directed the special and executive produced it along with “Friends” executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
