Filipino 'Emily in Paris' fan meets Hollywood actress Lily Collins in Paris

Leona Diaz became viral last year for posing at the show's Paris location
You may love or hate "Emily in Paris," but one thing is for sure, the Netflix show gave us the Parisian trip we badly needed during a community quarantine. And thanks to the show's flair for style and its lovely protagonist, it earned many Filipino fans here and abroad.
Included in that Filipino fanbase is Leona Diaz, a former nurse who now lives in Paris. Last year, the overseas PInay became famous after visiting the show's locations and producing a series of photographs online shot by her partner Jesus Victor.

According to some reports, Leona moved to France in 2018 to support her partner's photography and video production venture, Vbrncy Productions. As someone who doesn't have a good grasp on the French language, she could definitely relate to the character Emily Cooper, an American girl sent to Paris to work who's having a hard time learning the language as well.
Months after she posted the images, Leona finally meets the star behind Emily, Hollywood actress Lily Collins. Through a TikTok post, she details her chance encounter with the star.
She started off by visiting her favorite Paris spots such as Lena, Opéra Garnier, and Louvre Museum. As they make their way home, the couple saw Lily dining at the Les Deux Magots restaurants.
"I asked if I could take a photo with her and, voila!," she said in the post. "She is so kind and so pretty."
