WATCH: Marvel Studios drops first trailer for 'Eternals'

Marvel Studios recently released the first official trailer for “Eternals” and it is already looking quite epic.

Starting off ominously with the song "The End of the World" by Skeeter Davis in the background, the trailer presents the arrival of the god-like beings to Earth aboard a massive spacecraft. What follows next is the demonstration of their skills and powers, which are potent in their mission of helping humanity.

The third offering in the Marvel Cinematic Universe' (MCU) Phase Four has a story that spans thousands of years. According to Marvel Studios, the movie picks off from the events after "Avengers: Endgame." After living in hiding for many years, the ancient aliens, the Eternals, come out of the shadows to fight against mankind's oldest enemy, the Deviants.

Directed by Chloe Zhaé, the film features a stellar cast led by Angelina Jolie and is set to premiere on Nov. 5, 2021.
