Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has urged residents to report to the city’s COVID-19 hotline numbers any illegal activity by unscrupulous individuals or groups selling vaccines or offering slots for the jab.
Rubiano said the city government is conducting the vaccination of residents based on the categories given by the Department of Health (DOH).
She also reminded residents that the city government’s "Vacc to the Future” vaccination program is for free.
The mayor also encouraged residents to register at https://pasayemi.ph for their “Electronic Mamamayan ID” which they can use to avail of the “Vacc to the Future” vaccination program.
Rubiano said the city government has not received any complaint on the selling of vaccines or slots.
She asked city residents to be on guard and immediately report to the city’s COVID-19 hotline numbers, police, and to the Office of the Mayor these nefarious acts.
Rubiano said those who will be caught selling the vaccines or offering slots for vaccination for a fee will face the full force of the law.
