Las Piñas Vice Mayor Aguilar helps PWD who lined-up at a community pantry
A 26-year-old person with disability (PWD), who lined up at a community pantry in an exclusive subdivision in Las Piñas City, was immediately given help after catching the attention of Vice Mayor April Aguilar.

Paul San Miguel, the city’s public information chief, said that Diana Rose Epan, a resident of EMMAUS Subdivision, Talon 5, was one of the city residents who lined up at a community pantry as early as 5 a.m. to get some foods for her old parents
San Miguel said the PWD claimed that her family is earning a living from sewing and selling rags, but her parents are already both old and suffering from hypertension.
“Kahit na po ganito ang aking kondisyon ay pumila pa rin ako sa community pantry para sana makakuha ng mga gulay at prutas para sa aking mga magulang,” (In spite of my condition, I lined up at the community pantry hoping I could get some vegetables and fruits for my old parents)," Epan said during an interview over DZRH.
Touched by Epan’s interview, the vice mayor immediately ordered to give the PWD food packs, medicines, and vitamins for her parents.
