Churches are also being eyed as a mega vaccination site.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said one proposal given by the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) is to use churches because churches are well ventilated usually, especially the bigger ones.
"These can be of big help to our inoculation efforts," she said in a virtual forum Monday, May 24.
Aside from churches, private hospitals, malls, and even parking areas are also being eyed as well, said Vergeire.
The national government has also tapped the Nayong Pilipino in Pasay City as a mega vaccination site.
As of May 23, Vergeire said more than four million doses of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines have been administered nationwide.
"Out of this we have around 950,000 individuals who had been fully vaccinated already. We are continuosly increasing our jab rate in all our vaccination sites across the country. We are maximizing the doses of vaccines that we secured by prioritizing the most vulnerable," she said.
Of the 4.09 million vaccinees, Vergeire said, less than one percent of them reported suspected adverse effects following immunization (AEFI) that are considered serious.
"It is 0.012 percent that experienced serious adverse events," said Vergeire.
"Until now, the National Adverse Events Following Immunization Committee (NAEFIC) has not seen directly caused AEFIs from the COVID-19 vaccines," she added.
Vergeire said non-serious suspected AEFIs is at 1.10 percent.
