'It's Showtime' to undergo format changes in June

Get ready for the new "It's Showtime" program!

One of the producers of the popular noontime program "It's Showtime" dropped a hint that the Kapamilya show will undergo reformatting changes in June.

This was revealed by It's Showtime’s Multimedia Producer Pawi Lectura in a recent tweet.

Unkabogable star Vice Ganda said that he is thrilled for the changes in the program.

The new format is expected to boost ratings for the program, sources said.

"It's Showtime" premiered on Oct. 24, 2009. It rivals other noontime shows "Eat Bulaga" on GMA-7 and "Lunch Out Loud" on TV5.
