Bureau of Immigration (BI) officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and other ports attributed the aliens' compliance to repeated announcement on the compulsory order.

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases imposed the requirement three months ago as part of the bigger program of controlling the spread of the dreaded coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The foreigners who fail to present the required 10-day quarantine facility accommodation to immigration officers shall be denied entry.

The BI has been warning foreigners intending to visit the country that they will be subjected to deportation proceedings if caught with counterfeit quarantine accommodation papers.
