Mandaluyong residents urged to get vaccinated, report persons asking payment for vaccination slots
Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos urged her constituents on Friday to register and be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to report those illegally taking advantage of the vaccination program.

Abalos made the call after receiving reports that there are people asking for payment from the residents before they can be added to the list of vaccinees in the city.
"Libre po ang lahat ng bakuna laban sa COVID-19 na ibinibigay sa lahat ng residente at di residente ng lungsod na nagtatrabaho sa Mandaluyong. Magparehistro lang po kayo sa MANDAVAX. Wala po itong bayad. Ang MANDAVAX po ang pinagbabatayan natin para sa iskedyul ng mababakunahan (All COVID-19 vaccines being given to all residents and non-residents but working here in Mandaluyong are free. Just register to MANDAVAX for free because this is where we base the schedule of vaccination)." Abalos said.
The mayor said that those who have information regarding those asking for payment for vaccines may call her office at 8534-1662.
"Makakaasa po kayo na agad nating aaksyunan ang inyong reklamo (We assure you that we will immediately act upon your complains)." she added.
