LOOK: Kiehls releases limited edition collections for their 170th anniversary

Ever wonder where "try before you buy" concept started? Back in the 1990s, Kiehl's Apothecary's founding member Irving Morse believed that it's important for their customers to experience their products firsthand. Their philosophy of giving their customers the chance to find the right products to match their needs has paved the way for other brands to follow suit.

Since its inception back in 1851, Kiehl's has been known for coming up with tried-and-tested formulations of cosmectic, pharmaceutical, and herbal products. Its legacy continues in providing customized experiences have made this 170-year-old brand a well-loved and trusted one.

To commemorate this milestone, Kiehl's launches two exciting collections with a curated collection of their bestsellers packaged in clean white and gold embellished packaging—Calendula herbal extract toner that relieves redness and reduces blemishes, Midnight recovery concentrate that works overnight for smoother, radiant glow, Creamy eye treatment with avocado for brighter undereye area, and Ultra facial cream that softens the skin with its squalene and glycerin ingredients.

Other products worth adding to cart are from this limited edition heritage collection consisting of essential oils from the 1920s. It comes in three scents of love-luring essence oil, fortune-seeking essence oil, and jinx-removing essence oil. Its Heritage rosewater toner from the 1960s is also a classic that's worth revisiting. Infused with a mix of roses including the famous Turkish rose petals, the soothing aroma also delivers smoother skin.

In the 1990s, glycerin soaps were introduced as part of the brand's inventory. Presented in square soap bars, its known for its lather that cleanses and moisturizes. Choose unscented as a face cleanser, while the fresh herbal scent works for both hands and the body.

To celebrate its 170th year, the brand is offering up to 50 percent savings on selected products, including samples and even gifts worth up to P900 with a minimum spend of P1,500. Best news of all, you don't have to wait until May 27 for the big sale, visit their Lazada flagship store to pre-order by paying a "deposit" until May 26 11 a.m. and pay the balance on May 27.
