Expect warm weather conditions as the easterlies will continue to affect most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday, May 2.

In its latest weather update, the state weather bureau said the easterlies remain as the dominant weather system in the country, bringing warm winds from the Pacific.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the prevailing easterlies and the localized thunderstorms.
According to weather specialist Loriedin Dela Cruz, there is a low chance of heavy rains that would affect the country.
“Mararanasan pa rin natin ang maalinsangang panahon lalong-lalo na sa katanghalian at early afternoon (We will still experience warm weather especially at noon and early afternoon),” Dela Cruz said.
No weather disturbance will affect the country in the next three days, she added.
PAGASA has not issued a gale warning, meaning fishing boats and other small sea crafts are allowed to venture out into the sea.
