2Go Travel acquires another vessel

2GO Travel, the country’s largest premier sea travel provider, has acquired a vessel from Japan, and is set to sail its maiden voyage in the Philippine waters next month, the company announced. 

The newly purchased ship will be part of 2GO’s fleet of 10 ROPAX and freighter vessels, sailing to 20 major ports of call, linking Manila to Visayas and Mindanao. 

 “This new acquisition is part of our continuing efforts to upgrade our fleet, modernize our operations, and to provide a better passenger experience in sea travel. As destinations reopen its doors to local tourists, we are ready to bring Filipinos to their favorite Philippine islands,” said 2GO Assistant Vice President of Marketing Blessie Cruz. 

2GO Travel is offering discounted tickets as part of its pre-launch efforts starting today until May 3, 2021 for June 1 to December 15, 2021 voyages. 

Sail from Batangas to Caticlan and Roxasfor only ₱299 one-way with 50kg baggage allowance. Meanwhile, travel from Manila to Bacolod, Cebu, Coron, Iloilo, Dumaguete, and Puerto Princesa for as low as ₱399; whereas, routes from Manila to Butuan, Iligan, Ozamiz, Zamboanga, Cagayan De Oro are at ₱499. 

Aside from expanding its fleet, 2GO Travel also activated more than twenty online and offline payment channels to support a safer and more convenient ticket booking experience for its passengers.
