This activewear line that offers zonal compression and more

Working out and having your belly show up with your tights falling down can make any woman lose focus, especially during a hardcore workout. The momentum is gone, more so when its in a class where you need to regain your composure and catch up on the session.

Women also come in many shapes and sizes, making it harder to shop for gym wear that moves the way we want them to move. "Spoke with women around the world about what's missing and what we can do better, which was vital in understanding the needs of underrepresented communities, those that don't recognise themselves within the traditional spaces of sports and wellness," says adidas global training general manager Aimee Arana.

For the year 2021, Aidas has lined up product innovations that will help women keep moving without interruptions. Formation is the first to be released this year. Conceptualized by women for women, the Formation collection was developed with the newest shape wear technology, backed by body mapping and motion research. "With this collection, we wanted to make women feel secure and strong, yet comfortable-liberating, rather than restricting, giving confidence through every move, from deadlifting to barre," says Vice President of design Josephine Aberg.

Made with engineered knit technology and strategic zonal compression that sculpt and support, the pieces give a futuristic design that empowers the wearer—letting her move freely without worries. Its Aeroready fabric keeps the body dry and comfortable, an amazing feat considering it has primegreen that's made with at least 40 percent recycled materials.
