QC drive-thru vaccination site serves A1 to A3 sectors on first day of operation
The Quezon City government launched on Tuesday its first drive-thru vaccination site at SM Fairview in District 5, Quezon City.

The city has partnered with the SM City Malls to speed up the vaccination of the city residents.
“This is another product of our strong partnership with the private sector. This site will be convenient for those who register in groups like a family who just have to drive-thru this site while in the comfort of their cars,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said.

According to the city mayor, residents that will be accommodated at the drive-thru site will undergo the usual process -- site registration, screening, vaccination and post vaccination evaluation.
Patients will park their cars in the designated slots for the process.
On its first day of operation, the drive-thru site accommodated 100 residents belonging to A1-A3 priority groups of Barangay Greater Lagro.
The drive-thru vaccination will resume on Saturday (May 22).
“QCitizens, especially those who live busy lifestyles, please take advantage of this fast and convenient vaccine service, guaranteed to take away no more than 45 minutes of your time,” Mayor Belmonte said.
Citizens who are pre-registered through barangay-assisted booking scheme will be accommodated.
Residents who live near the vaccination site may coordinate with their barangay for an assisted booking schedule.
