Pokwang offers own home for Miss Myanmar

Pokwang took to social media to reach out to Miss Myanmar, Thuzar Wint Lwin, learning how the latter is still in the US days after the Miss Universe pageant ended.

Thuzar believes it is dangerous for her to fly home.

The actress-TV host tweeted, "Bukas ang aking tahanan para sa iyo Miss Myanmar..."

Halika muna sa aking bahay at pakakainin kita ng roasted chicken at lain ni mamang," she added.

Note that Thuzar used the Miss Universe stage to highlight ongoing trouble in her home country following a military takeover.

It was not the first time.

Prior to the stint, Thuzar joined many of her countrymen in protesting the coup that ousted Aung San Suu Kyi.
