Cartoon Network & HBO GO celebrate World Cheese Day with PH premiere of Tom and Jerry movie

With families still unable to go to theaters, the very best cat-and-mouse movie action is coming directly to your home instead. The local premiere of the Warner Bros. movie Tom and Jerry is dropping on streaming service HBO GO on June 4, which also happens to be World Cheese Day!

Once you’ve watched the movie, Cartoon Network is then inviting fans to join in the fun with a Tom and Jerry-themed no-bake cheesecake recipe. It’s the perfect activity that the whole family can enjoy as a bonding activity during the holidays.

One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of “the wedding of the century,” forcing the event’s desperate planner to hire Tom to get rid of him, in director Tim Story’s Tom & Jerry. The ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding and possibly the hotel itself. But soon, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious staffer conspiring against all three of them.

An eye-popping blend of classic animation and live action, Tom and Jerry’s new big-screen adventure stakes new ground for the iconic characters and forces them to do the unthinkable…work together to save the day.

Tom and Jerry stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Michael Peña, Colin Jost, Rob Delaney, Pallavi Sharda, Jorgan Bolger, Patsy Ferran, Nicky Jam, Bobby Cannavale, Lil Rel Howery and Ken Jeong. The movie is directed by Tim Story.
