Boyfriend defends Miss Universe Andrea Meza, says beauty queen not married

Mexican model Jorge Saenz, the long-time boyfriend of newly crowned Miss Universe Andrea Meza of Mexico, has appealed to netizens to stop posting threads that Andrea is married.

Saenz made the post after threads surfaced questioning the civil status of Andrea moments after she was crowned Miss Universe in Florida last Sunday night.

On Instagram story May 17, Saenz wrote: "People, my photo with @andreamezamx is just a shooting for @ahchihuahua. Please stop with your messages and threats. That photo is from 2019, and it is not edited. It was just a joke. Check @achihuahua profile."

In the photos, the sweethearts wrote sweet captions appearing to be wedding vows."Today begins a new stage of our lives, and I am sure that sharing everything by your side will make me the happiest person in the world,” wrote Jorge.

Andrea is also the official Tourism Brand Ambassador for Chihuahua, promoting the best touristic attractions and rich culture her beautiful home offers.
