Miss Universe Thailand trends online as alleged 'copycat' of Catriona Gray

Miss Universe-Thailand Amanda Obdam is hot topic on social media with some fans accusing her of seemingly copying Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's walk, stance and look.

In fact, social media darling Senyora even joined in.

Uploading a photo of Amanda, she wrote, "Galing mo talaga Catriona!"

Many netizens agreed with the statement.

"Catriona Blue is shaking!!! Sa unang tingin akala ko si Mocha! (At first, I thought it was Mocha (Uson)," one wrote.

Another added: "Super familiar ng style ng gown ah at the pose (The gown's style and pose are super familiar)."
Note that many are pointing out that aside from the Amanda's pasarela, her long gown is seemingly inspired from Mak Tumang's "Reflection" and “Lava” gowns, both worn by Catriona.

Prior, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa defended herself after receiving mixed reactions when her comments about Miss Thailand trended.
