Major tourist parks in Tagaytay City allowed to open under GCQ

TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite - The local government unit (LGU) here has allowed major tourist parks to operate under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions.

Executive Order No. 372 Series of 2021 issued on Saturday (May 15) and signed by Mayor Agnes D. Tolentino stated that People's Park in the Sky, Tagaytay Picnic Grove, and Tagaytay Skyranch may open provided that the amusement facilities within the parks remain non-operational.

Meanwhile, restaurants, cafes, and other similar businesses within amusement parks may be allowed to operate subject to policies for indoor and al fresco dining services under GCQ.

Social events at the upland tourist destination will be allowed at 10 percent seating capacity of the venue, provided that events are conducted outdoors.
