Did Ruffa Gutierrez really name her dog Zuleyka?

Pageant fans are still not over with the 69th Miss Universe Competition!

This time, pageant fanatics revived the issue surrounding former Miss World Second Princess Ruffa Gutierrez and former Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico.

Both international beauty queens were romantically linked to Turkish businessman Ylmaz Bektas. Ruffa and Ylmaz were once married while Zuleyka and Ylmaz dated.

On social media, fans recalled the rumors that Zuleyka allegedly hated Ruffa after the Filipino actress named her dog Zuleyka. Ruffa reportedly came up with the dog's name at the time she found out that Zuleyka and her former husband were dating. At present, Zuleyka and J.J. Barea are partners. They have a child.

They also speculated that Zuleyka, one of the judges in this year's Miss Universe pageant, gave low scores to Miss Philippines Rabiya Mateo who failed to advance to Miss Universe Top 10.

But Ruffa just laughed off this past issue.

"Actually, natatawa na lang ako sa mga speculations. Saka yung past binubuhay na naman ng iba. Definitely wala akong kinalaman dyan. Defintely," said Ruffa in a conversation with entertainment editor Jun Lalin. (These speculations are so funny. They are reviving the past. I don't have anything to do with it).

On Rabiya, the actress said she is proud of the Ilongga beauty queen who reached the semis of the prestigious pageant.

"I like to thank Rabiya for representing the Philippines. She's in the top 21, and she shouldn't feel bad about it. It's a great experience for her. I'm sure she met a lot of new friends. And she represented the country in the best way possible. So thank you! Thank you for that!" Ruffa added.
