Bulacan priest passes away

Rev. Msgr. Sabino Vengco Jr. passed away on Monday, May 17.

Vengco, 79, was a priest of the Diocese of Malolos in Bulacan. His passing was announced by Church-run Radyo Veritas.

"Rest in peace, Rev. Msgr. Sabino A. Vengco Jr. Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him," the Veritas posted in its official Facebook page.

The Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage-Antipolo also expressed its condolences.

"After serving God and the Church throughout his life and giving all his knowledge and love, Msgr. Sabino Vengco Jr., is now finished," it is also posted in its official Facebook page.

"May all his teachings through his words and deeds remain in our minds and in our hearts and lead us to love God and the Church, and be devoted sons and daughters of Our Lady more than ever," it added.

"Msgr. Vengco, thank you for leading us to Jesus and Mary. Thank you for showing us how to love God and His Church," it furthered.
