69th Miss Universe reveals top 5

Following the evening gown competition, the 69th Miss Universe announced the top 5 candidates who have the chance to become the next Miss Universe.

They are: Mexico, India, Brazil, Dominican Republic, and Peru

Mexico
India
Peru
Dominican Republic
Brazil

After the question-and-answer portion, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach gave the thumbs up to Miss Peru.

"Miss Peru gave me goosebumps with that answer," said Wurtzbach in a tweet. "Awww Miss Peru looks so happy. I love it when our queens show their real excitement. Nagiging excited ka rin for them."

The competition is still ongoing in Hollywood, Florida.
