Jimin, Cha Eun-woo, V, Jungkook, Jin top K-pop boy band member rankings in May

BTS’ Jimin, ASTRO’s Chae Eun-woo, and BTS’ V, Jungkook and Jin grabbed the first five places in the latest brand reputation rankings for individual K-pop boy band members for May. 

The Korea Corporate Research Institute released the rankings on May 15 based on an analysis of 126.05 million pieces of big data covering 632 members of K-pop boy bands from April 15 to May 15, an increase of 1.26 percent from 124.48 million in April. 

The boy band members were ranked based on their scores in consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices. 

BTS’ Jimin maintained his No. 1 position for the 29th consecutive month, scoring 4.72 million, down by 10.67 percent from 5.29 million in April. 

ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo also maintained his second place ranking this month with a score of 4.68 million, down by 2.96 percent from 4.82 million last month. 

BTS’ V placed third with a score of 4.63 million, falling 1.39 percent compared to 4.69 million in April. 

BTS’ Jungkook rose to fourth from sixth place, garnering a score of 3.58 million, a decrease of 17.83 percent from 4.36 million last month. 

BTS’ Jin ranked fifth again, scoring 3.11 million in May, down by 32.38 percent compared to 4.61 million last month.
