PDEA, PNP seize P13.6 M worth of shabu, arrest 2 in Taguig buy-bust

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized some P13.6 million worth of shabu during a buy bust operation on Saturday, May 15 in Taguig City.

PDEA spokesperson Derrick Carreon identified the suspects as Melanie Capin and Jeffrey Sadiasa who were both collared at the parking space of a mall.

Aside from the two kilos of shabu, the joint police and PDEA operatives also confiscated a Samsung phone, a driver’s license and 16 bundles of boodle money with one genuine P1,000 bill on top.

The suspects were collared at around 4:30 p.m. after several weeks of surveillance. (Chito A. Chavez)
