Pasay Mayor Emi orders strict implementation of health protocols under GCQ

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano has ordered the law enforcers to strictly implement the health protocols under the heightened General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Rubiano said the barangay in coordination with the police may continue to implement road closures and control points as warranted in barangay roads, alleys, and other interior roads.

She, however, pointed out that the barangay should notify and coordinate with the city government in limiting the movements of individuals in going out of their residences.

She said curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. must strictly be observed, and barangay authorities should still check individuals going out of their residences since only individuals aged 18 to 65 are allowed outside.

The mayor told residents to follow their market schedule and not to forget to follow the basic health protocols on wearing face masks and face shields, and social distancing.

Rubiano said the sale and purchase of liquors from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. still remain.
