LOOK: Kuya Kim and his new sisters

In a rare instance, Kuya Kim Atienza shared with fans a glimpse of his parents' private life via a vlog.

He visited his mom Evelina and father Lito on Mother's day.

Kim showed viewers their home, sharing a lot of stories.

Then he introduced his two new sisters.

He said, "Hindi alam ng marami ang nanay ko at tatay ko ay nag ampon. They adopted two girls. Yung isa galing sa Home from the Angels. Yung isa naman ay galing sa isang distant, distant relative ko..."

Apparently, his parents put up an adoption house in San Andres Bukid in 1996.

Since then, they have been saving children now numbering 800.

Kim detailed the place employs a "24/7 child care residential program performed by the team of registered social workers, health care providers, office personnel, housekeepers, volunteer mothers, caregivers, and assistants."

His mom shared one of the girls, Sarah Jane, has Attention Deficit Disorder.

She added she is "very gifted" musically, noting, "She can sing very well."

The other girl, Crisvil, is visually impaired and is on the autism spectrum.

More, she is a calendrical savant who can tell the weekdays corresponding to dates without resorting to a calendar or computer.

Kuya Kim then asked his mom why she adopted the two.

She answered, "God has chosen us to take care of them."
