Subaru launches Evoltis SUV

Adventure for more

Active Pinoy families that enjoy outdoor activities together can now take every member along with Subaru’s newest, and largest model yet, the Evoltis seven-seater SUV.

The Evoltis  (also known as the Subaru Ascent in North America) is the largest vehicle in Subaru’s lineup, offering three-rows of seating, and packed with premium features. The Philippines is also the only country in Southeast Asia to get this exclusive, made-in-the-United States model.

Performance and safety

The Evoltis is powered by Subaru’s latest generation of award-winning boxer engines. Under the hood is the new FA24, 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine, which generates a robust 260 horsepower and 375Nm of torque. It allows the Evoltis to haul the entire family, and even an additional trailer with its 5,000-pound towing capacity.

The Evoltis can take on the rough stuff too, with 220 mm of ground clearance and Symmetrical all-wheel drive to conquer some off-road paths and most floods.

Built on the Subaru Global Platform, symmetrical all-wheel drive with X-mode is standard. It sets the benchmark for safety in its segment with over 100 safety features, headlined by EyeSight, the only stereo-camera based safety system in its class.

This system allows it to match high-tech Driver Assist safety technologies found in luxury European brands with features like adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, pre-collision throttle management, lane departure warning, lane sway warning, and lead vehicle start alert.

Space and comfort

Not just rewarding for the driver, the Evoltis comes with a high-quality cabin, and promises true comfort with a 2-2-3 layout, where the second row is equipped with captain seats, ensuring maximum ride enjoyment. With over 4,700 liters of cabin space, it has a more spacious interior and is more comfortable than other premium SUVs.

Passengers are pampered with luxurious features such as a 14-speaker, 792-watt Harman/Kardon sound system and eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a large 54-inch panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control with rear-seat controls, smart rear view mirror, and multiple USB ports, power outlets, and as many as 19 cup and bottle holders located throughout the cabin.

“We are entering the Premium seven-seater SUV market with this spacious, feature-packed model. It has the best safety features in the segment with EyeSight as standard. It has excellent handling, drivability, and power, possessing all the hallmarks of a Subaru vehicle built on the Subaru Global Platform and equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It can even tow boats!,” said Gerry Hernandez, Country Manager of Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. “It is the best value proposition for the family.”

Only one variant of the Evoltis will be made available – the Evoltis 2.4 Touring EyeSight. It will retail for P3,480,000 and will be available in five colors: Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Crimson Red Pearl, and a brand-new color – Abyss Blue Pearl.

Subaru showrooms nationwide are ready to accommodate customers who want to view and test-drive the Evoltis.

The first 50 customers who register online and complete their purchase of an all-new Subaru Evoltis will also receive a limited-edition Evoltis watch to match their brand-new vehicle.
