Kim Chiu's love for Chanel handbags is inspired by Blackpink's Jennie

The actress has been collecting luxury handbags since the age of 18

Collecting is common among celebrities. Some hold onto antiquities and fine arts. For stylish individuals, it is designer items where they see the joy in collecting. It is the manifestation of their hard work and their inspiration to keep striving.

That is what Kim Chiu shares in her latest vlog featuring one of the fruits of her more than a decade career in Philippine show businessâ€”her designer bag collection. Starting with a pre-loved LV bag, the collection she presented took 15 years to be complete. And just like with other collectors, each piece has a story.

But what surprised us is Kim's story about her Chanel bags. In the video, she admitted that before, she is not much of a fan of the French luxury house's coveted handbags. Shocking, right? But what helped convert her is the Chanel's ambassador, Jennie of K-pop girl group Blackpink. It doesn't end there. Kim also said that she loves collecting Dior handbags too because of Jennie's bandmate Jisoo.

Looks like Kim is a Blink (the official fans club name of Blackpink) through and through even with her bag collection!
