Jessy Mendiola sells an old luxury item first before purchasing a new one

Actress Jessy Mendiola shared her recent luxury purchase on her YouYube channel. But before you raise your eyebrow on her latest splurging, it is good to know that the money she spent on it came from selling one of her old designer bags.

Jessy unboxed her new purchase, which is a Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis. In order to get her hands on the monogram handbag, she first let go of her Chanel wallet on chain, which according to her, is her first purchase from the French luxury label.

It is pretty evident the actress is not much into collecting designer bags saying, "If more than 10 na yung bags mo, it's just too much." And her advice to shoppers out there before purchasing a new bag, sell one that you rarely use first. That's a pretty wise tip. In that way, it makes sure that the money you spent on one doesn't just sit on your closet but comes full circle by using it again to purchase a new one.

"Nag-iiba kasi yung needs natin or yung gusto natin habang lumalaki tayo or tumatanda tayo (Our needs change when we grow up or as time goes by)," she says. "May mga bagay tayo na binili natin before, na habang tumatanda ka, nare-realize mo na hindi mo na pala kailangan (We have purchased things before that, when we grow older, we realize we don't need anymore)."
