Can't wait to see 'Army of the Dead'? Catch this 15-minute preview

The gang of "Army of the Dead"

After the success of the new "Justice League" movie, filmmaker Zack Snyder is back with his new creation "Army of the Dead." Premiering on Netflix on May 21, 2021, the movie is set in a ruined Las Vegas, filled with nothing but the undead. And if you can't wait any longer, the streaming platform is giving a glimpse of the movie, an entire 15 minutes of it, to be exact.

On Friday, May 14, 2021, Netflix will host a global livestream event on its YouTube channel where fans can tune-in to an interactive experience and be part of unlocking the first 15 minutes of "Army of the Dead."

If you don't know what it is about. The film follows the story of Scott Ward, a displaced Vegas local, former zombie war hero who is approached by casino boss Bly Tanaka with the ultimate proposition: Break into the zombie-infested quarantine zone to retrieve $200 million sitting in a vault beneath the strip before the city is nuked by the government in 32 hours. Scott takes on the challenge, assembling a ragtag team of experts for the heist. All is good until his daughter Kate joins in, and, not to mention, their discovery of smarter, faster hordes of Alpha zombies.

Much like in the film, audiences will have a 32-hour window to watch the beginning of "Army of the Dead." The virtual event will also feature special appearances by director Zack Snyder and the film's cast Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Tig Notaro and more—truly a zombie-aficionado event you wouldn't want to miss.
