Comedian-TV host Vice Ganda is now consciously spending less time on social media. 

In an interview, he noted it's part of his effort to stay mentally healthy amid the ongoing pandemic.

"How I keep myself sane? I avoid too much toxic stuff especially online," he said.

According to Vice, he only allows five percent of his time on social media and only to post stuff not read or stalk.

He believes doing so would only add to his worries.

His advice? "Focus on beautiful things, people."

Despite the ongoing health crisis, Vice announced he'll be staging a concert.

"Ginagawa ko talaga siya every two years. Talagang naka-schedule this year pero di ko alam paano gagawin dahil may pandemic," he shared.

Viva Boss Vic del Rosario encouraged him to mount it virtually.

The back-to-back streaming of "Gandemic: Vice Ganda the VG-tal concert" will happen July 17 at 9 p.m. (Philippine streaming) and July 18 at 11 a.m. (Worldwide streaming).

Vice promised to make viewers laugh out loud as 90 percent of the show will have him doing his own brand of comedy.

"Grabeng patawa ito dahil ito yung kailangan ng lahat," he said.

"For one night, in span of two hours makakalimutan nila nangyayari sa paligid. Huminga lang. Matawa. Na we don't experience every day now. So I will make sure na ibibigay ko sa kanila -- joy!"

Though nothing has been finalized as yet, the original guests are Ice Seguerra and Jake Zyrus for the LGBT-themed number, as with good friends Moira deal Torre and Anne Curtis.

The show will be directed by John Prats.
