Kawit, Cavite LGU pampers moms with free salon services

KAWIT, Cavite - The local government unit (LGU) here offered free salon services to mothers in celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday (May 9).

The activity, held at Tangulan Arena, treated mothers to free haircuts, manicures, and pedicures.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Angelo G. Aguinaldo said it was the LGU's way of thanking mothers who continue to be strong for their families amid the pandemic.

It was also a way to provide extra income to local hairstylists and manicurists who lost their income due to the pandemic.
