GMA's 'Legal Wives,' 'Love You Stranger' to stream on iQiyi

GMA shows could now be seen on the leading global entertainment streaming service.

During a recent press conference, GMA Network announced that it has sealed a multi-year partnership with iQiyi International, making Kapuso dramas the first Filipino content to be available on the said OTT platform.

According to them, with such alliance, subscribers of iQiyi in the Philippines can now watch the latest episodes of some of the newest Kapuso dramas within 24 hours from TV airing via the iQiyi app or iQ.com.

Among the first titles to be made available on the site include "First Yaya" as well as upcoming shows "Legal Wives," "Nagbabagang Luha," and "Love You Stranger."

iQiyi International's Country Manager Sherwin dela Cruz said it was very "crucial" for them to pick which content they are going to put up online.

Dela Cruz said there was a lot of reason that was considered like their target market and the story of the dramas, among others.

But overall, he considers their current list a "no-brainer."

"These are some of GMA's best shows and we believe in giving our subscribers only the best," he said.
