Mac Alejandre wins big at Samskara Int'l Film Festival

Veteran director Mac Alejandre has a new trophy to add to his collection.

He recently won Best Director at the Samskara International Film Festival in India for "Tagpuan."

Mac is happy with the win, naturally.

He said, I’m happy because it has made people who worked in the film and people who matter to me, like family and friends, happy. When we completed ‘Tagpuan,’ the fulfillment I felt was overwhelming and enough for me. The international recognition are sweet icing on the cake that is shared with all my collaborators, in front and behind the camera.”

Prior, the film won Best Feature Film at the Chauri Chaura International Film Festival.

It also earned the Best Supporting Actress plum for Shaina Magdayao at the recently concluded, The Eddys, of the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors.
