Geely launches virtual showrooms

With government restrictions on work, travel, and interaction adjusting with the status of cases in the country, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) is virtually opening its showrooms to the public.

Geely will start rolling out its virtual showrooms with SGAP-owned dealerships such as North Edsa and Makati, followed by other dealers soon.

“Just as we were expecting for a solid economic rebound after many businesses including the auto industry were brought to a grinding halt, it seems like we would have to endure more and adapt further to the new normal. Our bid to continue serving our valued customers without putting their safety at risk during these times continues,” SGAP President & CEO Mikihisa Takayama said.

“Geely customers may shop for Geely vehicles in the comfort of their own homes. Now more than ever, we see a growing worldwide trend for online shopping which now includes passenger vehicles,” Takayama added.

In dealer websites featuring virtual showrooms, Geely customers may take a peek at all Geely models’ exteriors and interiors. Complete information, including price and specifications is available. Current owners can also book a service appointment. Besides buying a vehicle, one can also apply for car insurance. For more details, they can also chat with an online sales agent. Finally, once satisfied, it’s easy to make an online transaction for a car purchase.

More dealer websites are set to be launched in the coming months. For now customers may check on Geely’s North Edsa and Makati virtual showrooms.
