f(x)'s Victoria leaves SM Entertainment

Victoria Song, 34, a Chinese member of the K-pop group f(x), has left her agency, SM Entertainment.

“It is true that our contract with Victoria has ended,” SM Entertainment told Korean media to confirm the news reports.

Victoria debuted as a member of f(x) in 2009 and she is the last member of the K-pop girl group to leave the agency.

Amber and Luna left SM Entertainment in September 2019. Krystal signed up with H& Entertainment in October last year after her contract with SM Entertainment expired in August. Sulli left f(x) in 2015 but stayed in SM Entertainment. She passed away in October 2019.

Victoria has been concentrating on her career in China as a singer and actress. Last month, Victoria made headlines for cutting ties with global brand H&M over the Xinjiang cotton issue and declared on her Weibo account, “I support Xinjiang cotton.”

In 2008 before her debut in f(x), Victoria appeared in SHINee’s music video for the song “Replay.”

After Sulli left the group in 2015, f(x) released the album “4 Walls” in October 2015 with Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal. They released the song “All Mine” in July 2016.

Victoria starred in the TV series “When Love Walked In” in 2012 together with Super Junior M’s Zhou Mi and Calvin Chen that started her career in China. Last year, she starred in the Chinese dramas “Find Yourself” and “Love Yourself.”
