Jennylyn Mercado gets tormented by spirit of vengeful ghost

This Saturday, April 10, Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado takes on an intense role as she fights off a sinister spirit via the brand-new episode of "Magpakailanman."

Known for her acting prowess and a long list of wide-ranging roles, the highly-talented Kapuso actress is set to conquer another distinctive character in the real-life drama anthology #MPK.

Jennylyn shares that it will be her first time portraying such a role, "Ngayon ko lang nagampanan ang ganitong klase na character kaya ito ang pinili ko at very special sa akin ang story. Malapit ‘to sa puso ko kaya sana panoorin ninyo."

Before her death, Lola Ising entrusted Mylene (Jennylyn) and her husband Rico (Juancho Trivino) to take care of her cousin whose husband committed concubinage. Life takes a turn for the worse when Mylene’s cousin falls for Noel (Anthony Falcon), a faith healer who persuades the love-stricken woman to retrieve Lola Ising's 'tuway' or kneecap from her grave thinking this would strengthen his ability to heal.

Although skeptical at first, Mylene eventually believes in the power of Noel as a faith healer when he rescued her and her unborn baby during her pregnancy. In a wicked twist of fate, her cousin along with her children suddenly succumb to death. Before her last breath, she warns Mylene that Lola Ising's curse may be passed on to her.
