'Crash Landing on You' stars Kim Jung-hyun, Seo Ji-hye dating; agency responds

Actor Kim Jung-hyun, 31, and actress Seo Ji-hye, 36, who starred in the hit drama “Crash Landing on You” are dating.

Korean media outlet Dispatch published an exclusive report on April 8, stating that the two have been dating for a year since “Crash Landing on You” ended in February 2020.

Dispatch was the news outlet that broke the dating story between “Crash Landing on You” stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin last Jan. 1.

According to the report, Kim Jung-hyun and actress Seo Ji-hye usually date at home. They would go to their respective apartments, which are only 10 minutes away. Kim Jung-hyun moved to Seongdong-gu in Seoul, where the actress lives, last year.

Dispatch wrote that it witnessed the two dating at home several times. Kim Jung-hyun would take the lead and Seo Ji-hye would follow but they would maintain distance.

It added that the two had a date near Seoul. A close friend said the two often spend time together including celebrating their birthdays.

The two met in 2016 when they were cast in the drama “Don't Dare to Dream” (aka “Jealousy Incarnate") and met again in 2019 for “Crash Landing on You.” Last year, they became lovers, the report added.

A source who knows the two said, “Kim Jung-hyun went through a difficult time due to personal reasons. Then he met Seo Ji-hye and came to rely on her.”

Culture Depot, Seo Ji-hye’s agency, denied the dating report, saying the two stars are just colleagues.

“It is true that the two have known each other but they are not dating,” the agency said.
