Yam Concepcion dedicates 'Init sa Magdamag' to OPM icon Claire dela Fuente

Kapamilya actress Yam Concepcion was in tears as she recalled how her Tita Claire dela Fuente helped her reach her goals as an actress.

In an online media conference with the cast last Monday, Yam shared: "Noong nagsisimula ako ang naka-discover sa akin ay si Ms. Claire Dela Fuente, and alam niyo naman yung nangyari sa kanya ngayon;

"Nakakagulat eh, sobrang sudden noong nangyari, alam mo noong Sunday, tumawag pa siyasa akin eh, sabi niya "Yam, napanuod ko yung trailer ng 'Init sa Magdamag' congratulationsâ€¦

"Four minutes lang yun sa telepono, (Thank you tita Claire) hindi ko naman inee-expect na bigla na lang siya mawawala," she added.

Yam went on to say that she dedicates this project to Claire, saying: "Gusto ko lang rin siya i-recognize dahil kung hindi dahil sa kanya, wala ako dito ngayon.

Yam, 32, was discovered by the Jukebox Queen when she starred on a music video for the song "Sinungaling" by OPM band Mayonnaise.

"Init sa Magdamag" will premiere this April 19, only on TV5, and A2Z channel on free TV and via digital boxes like ABS-CBN TV plus.
