How Gerald Anderson gets into character

Being in the entertainment industry for over a decade now, Gerald Anderson remains among sought after leading men in the country.

Love him or hate him, you can't deny he is good in his craft.

Bulletin Entertainment recently asked the 32-year old actor how he gets into character.

Gerald responded, "Wag na tayo lumayo sa sitwasyon ni Tope, sa 'Init sa Magdamag' marami siyang hinaharap na problema and sa tagal ng taping namin talagang pumasok ako sa buhay ni Tope.

"Ramdam ko talaga yung hirap niya so hindi ko kailangan kumuha sa personal life (experiences) ko, kasi kumbaga magkakaroon ka rin ng simpatya sa pinagdadaanan niya eh..."

Gerald went on to elaborate how the character in itself helps him channel the emotions needed.

It gets much easier he said, when a certain scene or script reflects something he'd experienced before in real life.

Aside from this, Gerald also shared what he felt after announcing his relationship with actress Julia Barretto.
