Cool Kids Gaming acquires roster of CODM powerhouse NU Anarchy

After its impressive campaign in the 2021 Call of Duty Mobile Garena Invitational, the roster of Nifty Ultra Anarchy has transferred to emerging esports organization Cool Kids Gaming. 

Players Josh "Smoke" Videna, Averson "Skerd" Salaya, Vince "Demorz" Salaya, Saymun "Baymun" Mateo, Jerzen "Aeschy" Espiritu and Owen "Owen" Crisostomo, and team manager Arkisha Aragon made the decision on Monday, April 5. 

"We wish from the fans and to our previous management to accept our decision and keep supporting us in our future tournaments," Aragon said in a statement. 

Nifty Ultra owner Joseph Alejo sent his best wishes to the team.

"I would like to thank them for all the things they brought to us and still, I wish them to continue to conquer their esports dream," Alejo said in a statement posted on NU Facebook page. 

The team has been renamed to Cool Kids Gaming (CKG) Anarchy under CEO/Founder Joanna Aliman and management personnel Paul Dammay and Richard Ian. 

Aragon bared to Manila Bulletin that their contract with CKG is set on April 1 to September 30 this year, with the organization providing the squad a brand new bootcamp.

The Philippines Championship 2020 victor made it to the playoffs of the recently concluded CGI before giving Garena king NRX Jeremiah 29:11 a run for their money in the lower bracket first round. 

CKG Anarchy is expected to make its debut in the Philippine Pro Gaming League and play next in the MSP (Malaysia-Singapore-Philippines) Championship.
