Toni Gonzaga reveals saying no to her role in 'Four Sisters and a Wedding'
Not once, but twice!
Actress-host Toni Gonzaga sat down with the King of Talk Boy Abunda recently revealing she actually didn't want to take her role in the 2013 blockbuster film, "Four Sisters and a Wedding."
Apparently, as experienced as she was as actress at the time, Toni has been having doubts if she could actually pull off the role of "Teddie," the eldest of the five siblings.

Toni shared, “Dalawang beses akong nagpunta kay Tita Malou (Santos, ABS-CBN head) noon. I was begging off. Nakiusap ako, ‘Tita Malou, ‘di ko po 'ata kaya. Nakakahiya po, baka di ko maibigay yung hinihingi.'"
Toni also mentioned how her co-stars Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo and Shaina Magdayao have all excelled in dramatic roles while she was used to doing mostly romantic-comedy films.

“Syempre, kilala natin si Angel, action-drama queen. Bea, movie queen, drama queen. Lahat sila queen in their own rights. They are all best actresses at that time already. E parang yung mga ginagawa ko nun, rom-com, rom-com. So ano bang maibibigay ko?"
Thankfully, in the end, she accepted the role, creating movie history in the process.

Toni, 37, is celebrating her 20th year in the industry.
