BTS, BLACKPINK, Seventeen, SB19 nominated at 2021 Billboard Music Awards
The nominees for this 2021 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) have been announced and three K-pop groups and one Filipino boy band are included.
Dick Clark Productions and NBC revealed the finalists in 51 categories based on the chart period from March 21, 2020 to April 3 this year.
“Billboard Music Awards finalists and winners are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data. Fan-voted categories include Top Social Artist and Top Collaboration,” according to BBMA.
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards will be held on May 23, 8 p.m. ET (8 a.m. on May 24 in the Philippines) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles
K-pop superstars BTS have been nominated in four categories: Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Social Artist and Top Selling Song.
K-pop groups BTS, BLACKPINK and Seventeen, Pinoy boy band SB19 and Ariana Grande are this year’s nominees for the fan-voted Top Social Artist award.
