Kelley Day bags Best National Costume award at Miss Eco International 2020

Miss Philippines Kelley Day won Best National Costume award at the preliminary competition of Miss Eco International 2020 beauty pageant held in Egypt last Friday.

"It was such an honor to wear this beautiful creation in the National Costume Competition of Miss Eco International. Winning “Best National Costume” tonight just made me feel even MORE proud to be representing the Philippines. Thankful for all the hard work and creativity of the team that was behind this. ? ?? Thank you Miss Eco International for the recognition - this is for the Philippines!" said Kelley on Instagram.

Panama was second place while Thailand, third place.

A few days ago, the actress-model finished No. 7 at the Miss Eco Fitness special competition.

Earlier, Arnold Vegafria, head of ALV Talent Circuit, said that Kelley has been making an impressive showing at the Miss Eco International 2020 pageant on-going in Egypt, according to Arnold Vegafria, head of ALV Talent Circuit.

“Based on what we’ve been seeing on social media in the past few days, Kelley has been making an impressive showing in the pageant preliminaries, and stands a good chance of bagging the crown during the finals night,” said Vegafria, on Facebook.

The grand finals of the Miss Eco International 2020 pageant will be held on Easter Sunday, April 4.

Vegafria also encouraged pageant fans to vote for Kelley in the competition. “I enjoin everyone to please support Kelley’s bid and vote for her official headshot photo by clicking on her photo and leaving a like/comment on the Miss Eco International Facebook page.”
