After getting a passing score from critics, the "Mortal Kombat 2021" reboot seems likely to get a sequel.

Of course, netizens don’t want to get left out of the decision-making process and are already campaigning for Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot to be included in the next movies.


It can be recalled that Joe Taslim already signed a contract for four more ‘Mortal Kombat’ movies in case the movie becomes a blockbuster hit and Warner Bros. decides to pursue further additions to the franchise.

Taslim played the villain Sub Zero in the ‘2021 Mortal Kombat’ reboot and received a lot of praise for his portrayal and his extraordinary action sequences.

Now, netizens are making it known that they want Ryan Reynolds to play Johnny Cage in the sequel.

They also want Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot to play the role of Princess Kitana, so much so that they have been sharing an edited photo of the star should she play the iconic role.

However, it may take a while for these stars to become available to shoot a ‘Mortal Kombat’ film. Reynolds is reportedly preparing to film a third Deadpool movie under the MCU and Gadot is currently pregnant with her third child.
