Gabriela Youth launches online freedom wall to commemorate Labor Day
While mass gatherings remain prohibited under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), Gabriela Youth has thought of a creative way for the public to protest or express their support for Filipino workers.

The group has launched an online freedom wall to commemorate Labor Day on May 1.
"Para sa Prolet," is an avenue where people can voice their support for the working class or forward their calls, such as the P10,000 subsidy for the poor, P750 minimum wage, or an end to contractualization.
To write, draw, or put an audio on the "wall", individuals need to just click the "+" button.

Individuals may also include photos, GIFs, or links from YouTube, Spotify, or a website.
In honor of Labor Day, 50,000 minimum wage earners and overseas Filipino workers will be vaccinated on May 1, according to the Department of Labor and Employment.
