Bren Esports first to decode Blacklist International in potential MPL finals preview

There's no better team to be the first to decode Blacklist International in the MPL Philippines Season 7 than the reigning local and world champion Bren Esports itself.
Bren did just that as it unleashed its uber-aggressive playstyle in the deciding Game 3 to deal Blacklist International its first defeat, 2-1, in the potential finals preview match on Thursday night, April 29.
M2 Grand Finals MVP Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno on his Benedetta spearheaded the black and yellow squad's classic aggression as the Mobile Legends kings built a massive early lead against Blacklist's Roger and Angela duo in the rubber match before methodically playing in the late game.
KarlTzy came through with a perfect record of seven kills and six assists while CJ "Ribo" Ribo on his Chang'e also went flawless with three kills and seven assists as he dished out the magic damage in the 14-5 victory in 17 minutes.

But Bren would not be able to force the decider if not for Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel's championship Selena who came through with a super clutch Abyssal Arrow play in Game 2.
Blacklist was actually on the verge of sweeping Bren with Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap's Benedetta eyeing down the latter's half-health Base but Pheww threw an Arrow straight at Edward to deny his attempt.
Bren eventually wiped out Blacklist as KarlTzy's Claude chased Kiel "OHEB" Soriano's Esmeralda and the boys of coach Francis "Duckey" Glindro went straight for the thrilling comeback win.
With the reverse sweep, Bren joined Aura PH at No. 2 in Group A with 14 points on a 5-4 series win-loss record.
Blacklist, which took Game 1 on the back of Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna's Estes, DJ "Wise" Del Rosario's Granger and EDWARD's Kagura, remained atop Group B with 19 points despite dropping to 7-1.
