Why Heart Evangelista's father did not attend her wedding

All is well between actress Heart Evangelista and her father Reynaldo Ongpauco.

Prior, Heart asked her father what he and her husband Chiz Escudero argued about.

"So bakit kayo nag-away dati?" Heart asked her dad during her recent vlog.

"Nag-away? Hindi ko naman siya naging kaaway," her father answered.

Then Heart asked again why he didn't attend her wedding. 


Reynaldo didn't expound on his answer but admitted he regretted not doing so.

"Sayang. Naging bati na sana kami no'n pa," her father said.

The actress then teased her father and husband to hug each other, but they refused to do so. Heart understood, saying he is "not physically expressive."

Heart and Chiz tied the knot six years ago.

Although Reynaldo didn't attend the wedding, he sent a letter and promised to come knocking at the door once he realizes that Chiz deserves his daughter.

"I told you, if you do everything right, and you pray a lot, time heals everything," she said.
